National Bargaining Statement for the Week of Jan. 29, 2024

Fort Collins brewery

Anheuser-Busch agreed to meet with the Union this week in Washington, D.C. to discuss remaining open bargaining items, including wages, retirement and job security. The company also delivered a strong, comprehensive counterproposal to Union leadership that addressed all outstanding issues.

Unfortunately, Union leadership decided to walk out of both formal bargaining sessions. This follows Union leadership canceling the last four bargaining sessions.

While our goal remains reaching a timely agreement that recognizes the talent, commitment and drive of our brewery employees, we continue to implement a number of precautionary measures to guarantee business continuity and continue serving our consumers. Come March 1, Anheuser-Busch is prepared to operate our breweries and keep beer stocked in the event there is a work stoppage.

We are disappointed in how Union leadership has conducted itself in these negotiations but remain committed to securing a successor contract that continues to position the company and employees for shared, long-term success.

National Bargaining Statement for the Week of Oct. 2, 2023

National bargaining between Anheuser-Busch and the Teamsters resumed on Oct. 2, 2023. The discussions were productive and continued to focus on non-economic issues.

The parties reaffirmed their longstanding relationship and commitment to reaching an agreement that continues to recognize and reward the talent, commitment and drive of our brewery employees.

We look forward to resuming negotiations with the Teamsters on the week of Oct. 16, 2023.
